Wave Recall

Listen to a sine tone for three seconds. The reference disappears, and you tune your own frequency from 0.15 to 2.40 kHz to match your memory.

How to play

Start the test to enable audio. Memorise the tone and waveform, then move the slider or use the fine adjustment buttons. Preview your tone and lock your guess. Both waveforms share the same time scale. Ten rounds award up to 1,000 points each; your best total saves locally.

Scoring

Scores measure logarithmic pitch distance. An exact match earns 1,000; a two-octave difference earns zero. Tone playback stops when you leave the tab. If interrupted during memorisation, repeat the same reference round.
