How to play NULL Alchemy

You begin with Water, Fire, Earth and Air. Choose two elements from your collection, then press Combine elements. You can also drag elements into the two slots. A successful combination reveals a new element and adds it to your collection.

1. Start small: Water and Fire make Steam. Fire and Earth make Lava.
2. Reuse what you find: Every discovered element can be combined again. Nothing gets consumed.
3. Try doubles: An element can fill both slots. Water and Water make Sea.
4. Follow an idea: Think about materials, nature and inventions. The stranger discoveries come later.

From nature to the impossible

The collection moves through four chapters: Origin, Life & Civilisation, Fringe Science and Reality Break. Build up familiar materials and living things before exploring time, consciousness and cosmic oddities. The late-game combinations follow their own logic, even when the result makes no sense at all.

Stuck on a combination?

A hint reveals the ingredients for an undiscovered recipe that you can already make. In this preview, the extra-hint video flow is simulated. The intended full game offers optional rewarded videos without interrupting your experiments.

Controls

• Desktop: Click or drag elements, then combine.
• Mobile: Tap the two ingredients and the combine button.
• Keyboard: Tab between controls; Enter or Space activates buttons.
